PrivatClaw is a managed hosting service for OpenClaw — the open-source AI assistant. We handle the servers, security, and infrastructure so you can just connect your favorite messenger and start using AI.
How it started
I was using OpenClaw on my Mac. Loved it. Then I read about prompt injection — how an AI agent with filesystem access can leak everything it touches. I looked at my machine: SSH keys, .env files with tokens, passwords in keychain. And my bot sitting right there with full access. That felt wrong.
Then I showed it to a friend — a marketologist. He said "I want this." I started explaining: "First you install Docker..." — and after the word "Docker" I realized the gap between us.
I set it up for him. He loved it. And then he said: "Every non-technical person needs this. Make it for everyone."
That's the idea. OpenClaw is great. But not everyone needs to know what env vars are. Some people just want to connect Telegram, Discord, or any other channel and use AI. I decided to build a wrapper where the service handles all the infrastructure.

Browser that works
A real Chromium browser with unique fingerprint per bot. Passes Cloudflare, reCAPTCHA, DataDome. Your AI can actually browse the web without getting blocked.

Updates & maintenance

The hard parts we solved
Security from day one
Every user runs in a separate container. API keys are encrypted and never stored in plain text. I built it this way for myself first — I wanted my own data safe. When users came, the standard was already set.
The browser problem
Headless browsers get blocked everywhere — Cloudflare, DataDome, reCAPTCHA all detect Playwright headers instantly. We patched both OpenClaw and the browser protocol to run a full Chromium with unique fingerprints and proxies. Bots now look like real users.
Multi-model conversations
We use a proxy that splits conversations across AI providers so no single one sees your full chat. Sounds simple, but it breaks when users switch between Claude and Kimi mid-conversation. Took a long time to make it stable.
Making integrations actually simple
Connecting Google services shouldn’t require a developer console. We built one-click OAuth flows — press a button in the dashboard, grant access, done. Gmail, Sheets, Calendar, Analytics all work this way already.

Founder & Engineer
I use OpenClaw every day and know exactly how powerful it is. But I also know that "install Docker, set env vars, buy API keys, configure all the models, connect everything yourself" is a non-starter for most people. PrivatClaw exists to bridge that gap — same power, zero setup.
I talk to every user, ship features based on real feedback, and personally make sure the infrastructure is solid. If something breaks, people message me directly — and I fix it. That's the kind of service I want to build.
